As I was thinking, this made no sense to me. They have a beautiful country with a beautiful landscape. They have a national healthcare system. For those of you guys that don't know what that means, when you go to the hospital, they fix you up, and send you home. There are no insurance forms to fill out. If you can't pay they don't tell you 'sorry sir, but you're screwed'. In America we just send those people who can't afford healthcare home, even if that means death. So far Canada 1, US 0.
Then I thought about their civil rights. Canada allows gay marriage. In America we preach seperation of church and state, but unfortunately fail to practice it. If we did practice it, there would be no reason to disallow gay marriage. What somebody else does in the bedroom doesn't hurt me, and everyone deserves the same rights to live a happy life and hopefully not die alone. Again, this just adds to Canada's awesomeness.
Sure it's cold, but that's ok, it helps them be awesome at hockey. They have the more awesome side of the Niagra Falls. They have Christmas trees all over their country
The drinking age in Canada is lower in most provinces then it is in the US. They don't fight pointless wars. In fact, they don't fight anybody. They just sit in their country and enjoy their ability to marry the same sex and go to the doctor when they get sick, and not lose their house over it. Sounds like a pretty sweet life for a liberal to me!
